In old smart meters (SMR 2 and 4), the P1 Meter is (almost) not powered. If this is the case, the status ring of the P1 Meter will remain off or, in exceptional cases, flash orange. In either case, to work, the P1 Meter needs a USB-C adapter set to provide the P1 Meter with sufficient power. You plug the USB-C adapter set into the bottom of the P1 Meter (USB-C).
Do you live in Belgium, and the P1 Meter is not working with your smart meter? Then Fluvius probably hasn't opened the P1 gate yet. You can arrange that on the portal of Fluvius. Even if you have just changed energy supplier, the gate might be closed. In that case, also check whether the P1 gate is still open on the above portal.
For new meters, the P1 Meter works without an additional power supply. Do you have the correct smart meter, and is the P1 meter still not turned on? Please contact us.
