🇱🇺 Luxembourg

All modern meters (also known as ‘Smarty’) in Luxembourg have a P1 port and are compatible with the P1 meter. By default, the P1 port on Luxembourg ‘Smarty’ meters is encrypted.

Obtaining a P1 key from your network operator

Because the data on Luxembourg Smarty meters is encrypted, the p1 Meter requires a P1 key. You can contact your network operator (Creos, Electris, Sudstroum, Ville de Diekirch or Ville d’Ettelbruck) with your name (your name must be registered for this meter at the operator), address and Smarty 'SAG' number (can be found below the green round button) of your Smarty to receive your decryption key. This key is unique for each meter and is a string of 32 numbers and letters that need to be inserted via the HomeWizard Energy app.

To enable gas measurements in the Energy app (updates every 5 minutes), contact your gas network operator (Creos, Dudelange or Sudenergie) with your name, adres, Smarty 'SAG...' number and Gas meter 'FLO...' or 'ELS...' number (can be found on the meter) for data activation.

🇩🇰 Denmark

All modern meters in Denmark have a P1 port and are compatible with the P1 meter. By default, the P1 port on Danish smart meters is deactivated. Contact your local network operator on how to activate the P1 port. Depending on your operator, it may be available in their online portal.

🇭🇺 Hungary

All modern meters in Hungary (also known as Okosmérő) have a P1 port but not all are compatible with the P1 meter. This is dependent on your network operator.

  • Meters from E.ON Hungária Zrt are fully compatible but do not support phase information (Sanxing, Holley and Sagemcom)

  • Meters from MVM (Holley) may require an update from MVM for compatibility.

  • Meters from network operator ELMU (Sanxing) do not work currently.

🇸🇪 Sweden

All modern meters in Sweden have a P1 port (also known as HAN port), but not all meters in Sweden are compatible with the P1 meter. In some cases the HAN port can be disabled and you need to contact your network operator to enable the HAN port on your smart meter.

Aidon or Kampstrup meters with an RJ12 type port in Sweden are fully compatible, Kamstrup does require a power adapter. Meters with an RJ45 type port are currently not compatible. We are looking into compatibility for these meters.

🇦🇹 Austria

In Austria it is network operator dependant if your smart meter has a P1 port. By default the P1 port is encrypted.

Obtaining a P1 key from your network operator

Because the data on Austrian meters is encrypted, the p1 meter requires a P1 key. You can contact your network operator with your name (your name must be registered for this meter at the operator), adres and Smart meter 'SAG' number (can be found below the green round button) of your meter to receive your decryption key. This key is unique for each meter and is a string of 32 numbers and letters that need to be inserted via the HomeWizard Energy app.
