Install the P1 Meter on your smart meter
1. Place the P1 Meter in the P1 port on your smart meter
2. Pulsing white (factory mode)
If the P1 Meter is powered by the smart meter, the status ring will start pulsing white.
Status ring not turning on? With older smart meters you need a USB C adapter to power the P1 Meter. Read more about smart meter compatibility here.
3. Activate pairing mode
Press and hold the button on the P1 Meter, until the status ring starts flashing blue. Pairing mode has now been activated.

Adding the P1 Meter in the HomeWizard app
Are you using the HomeWizard app for the first time and haven't created an account during order placement? Then first create a HomeWizard account. Follow the steps in the app for this.
Press Add a device > P1 Meter > Next. Make sure the status ring of your P1 Meter is still flashing blue (pairing mode).
iOS 13 or newer / Android 10 or newer: You will automatically be prompted to connect to the 'P1meterSetup' network. Press Connect.
Android 9 or older:
Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your phone and connect to the Wi-Fi network 'P1meterSetup'.
Enter the password:SetupPass.
Go back to the HomeWizard app. You might see 'No internet connection available'. This message can be ignored, as your phone is now connected to the Wi-Fi network of the P1 Meter, which currently has no internet connection.
Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your Wi-Fi password. Press Continue. The P1 Meter will now connect to your Wi-Fi network.
When the P1 Meter is connected to Wi-Fi, the status ring turns green. You can now continue to the main screen of the app.
