If you’ve changed your Wi-Fi password, started using a new router, or want to connect your device to a different network, you can easily update the Wi-Fi settings of your HomeWizard device.
Follow the steps below to reconnect your device to Wi-Fi.
Step 1: Open the HomeWizard app.
Open the HomeWizard app.
Make sure you’re logged in with the same account you previously used to set up the device.
Step 2: Select your device.
Tap “Devices” at the bottom of the app.
Choose the device for which you want to change the Wi-Fi settings (for example, P1 Meter, Energy Socket, or Watermeter).
Tap the three dots in the top right corner (settings).
Step 3: Start the Wi-Fi setup process.
Tap “Change Wi-Fi settings” or “Connect to new network.”
Follow the steps on screen to put the device into pairing mode.
You usually do this by holding the button on the device for a few seconds until the light starts blinking.
Select your new Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) and enter the Wi-Fi password.
💡 Note: HomeWizard devices only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks, not 5 GHz.
Step 4: Confirm the connection.
Wait for the device to reconnect. This usually takes less than a minute.
A message will appear in the app once the connection is successful.
Your device is now connected to the Wi-Fi network again.
