Update manually.
First, try to update it manually via the app:
Open the HomeWizard app.
Go to Settings > Devices.
Select your Energy Socket.
Tap the three dots in the top right and select Update.
If this doesn't work, try the solutions below.
Solutions.
1. Check the Wi-Fi strength.
A weak Wi-Fi signal can interfere with the update. Try the following:
Place the Energy Socket closer to your Wi-Fi point.
Try the update again.
2. Restart the router.
Unplug your router from the power outlet.
Wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.
Wait for the router to fully start up and try the update again.
3. Connect to a different Wi-Fi network.
Sometimes your router may block an update. If the update fails, try temporarily connecting the Energy Socket to a different Wi-Fi network. You will not be able to connect to your P1 Meter during this time. As soon as they are on the same network again, they will be re-paired.
Connect the Energy Socket to a different Wi-Fi network and try the update again.
Do you have a mobile hotspot? Create a hotspot on your phone, tablet, or laptop and connect the Energy Socket to it.
Preferably use mobile data, not your home network.
