My graph shows 'No Data', what does this mean?

A device was recently or is currently offline

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Are you seeing the message “No Data” in a graph in the HomeWizard app? This means that no measurement data is available at that moment. In most cases, this is temporary and resolves on its own.

Does the message remain visible for a longer time? Then your device is likely not connected to Wi-Fi. In this article, you can read how to fix Wi-Fi connection issues.

Possible causes.

  • Temporary outage

There may have been a short interruption in the server connection. During this time, your devices continue measuring in the background, but the data is temporarily not visible. Once the connection is restored, the data will automatically reappear in the graphs.

  • Wi-Fi connection issue
The device may have temporarily lost its Wi-Fi connection. Check whether your device is still connected to the network and whether the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough.

  • Power interruption
If the device briefly lost power (for example due to a loose connection or a voltage dip), it may temporarily stop sending data.

  • Device is updating
During a firmware update, data is temporarily not transmitted. Once the update is complete, measurements automatically resume.

What you can do.

  • Check the connection
Open the HomeWizard app and see if your device is listed as “Online.”

  • Restart the device
Unplug the device briefly and plug it back in.

  • Check your Wi-Fi signal
Make sure the device is within range of your Wi-Fi network.

  • Give it some time
In many cases, the data updates automatically within a few hours once everything is working again.

Good to know

  • Your devices continue measuring, even if you temporarily see “No Data.”

  • Once the connection or processing is restored, any missing data will automatically appear in the graph.

“No Data” in your solar production graph?

If you’ve connected your inverter (part of Energy+), you’ll also see a solar production graph. Does it show “No Data”? Then we’re unable to retrieve data from your inverter brand’s server.

Check the settings or contact the manufacturer or supplier. Prefer to be independent of external data sources? Consider using a kWh Meter.
