Connect your Energy Display in the HomeWizard app.
Place the Energy Display where you want it and power it using the included USB adapter.
The Energy Display shows a wifi icon and is ready to be connected.
Open the HomeWizard app and go to Settings > Devices > + Add device and select Energy Display.
Follow the instructions in the app to connect your Energy Display.

The screen explained.
Screen layout
The screen consists of three circle widgets and three line widgets. For each widget, you can choose which information is shown. You can also set a goal for each widget.
1. Circle widgets
The circle widgets show a value with a colored circle. The circles fill clockwise until the set goal is reached. If a circle widget shows energy returned to the grid, the circle fills counterclockwise.
In the example above, we see the following information:
Electricity total, in the now view: how much electricity your home is currently consuming (purple) or returning to the grid (green). Below the circle, you can see today's total electricity consumption and total energy returned to the grid.
Water consumption, in the today view: how many liters of water have been consumed today.
Gas consumption, in the today view: how many cubic meters of gas have been consumed today.
Good to know: Daily totals reset every night at 2:00 AM. The widgets then switch to the values for the current day.
2. Line widgets
The line widgets show a value, icon, and line that fills up to the set goal. For energy generation, lines fill from left to right. For energy returned to the grid, they fill from right to left.
In the example above, we see the following information:
Electricity total, in costs: today's electricity costs in euros, based on the rates you've entered.
Solar generation, in the now view: how much solar energy is currently being generated, in watts.
Temperature: the current ambient temperature near this Energy Display.
Personalize your Energy Display.
For each widget, you can choose which information is shown. To change this, open the HomeWizard app and go to Settings > Devices > Energy Display > your display. Here, you can customize your Energy Display to your preferences.
Name and profile
Tap the pencil icon to change the name of your display. You can also choose a profile, such as living room or bedroom. This determines which icon is shown with the temperature and humidity graph in the HomeWizard app.
Dashboards
Tap Consumption overview to customize the three circle widgets on your Energy Display. For each circle, you can select a graph and choose between now, today, auto or costs.
You can also set a goal for each circle widget. This determines the value at which the circle is completely filled. This way, you can see at a glance whether today's consumption stayed within your set goal.

Line widgets
Here, you can choose which values you want to show in the three line widgets on the right side of the Energy Display. The settings are the same as for the circle widgets.
Brightness
Set the brightness of the Energy Display to Low, Medium or High. This sets the overall brightness level. The display also adjusts its brightness based on ambient light for optimal readability.
Motion detection
The Energy Display has a built-in motion sensor. This automatically turns on the screen when motion is detected. You can set the sensor sensitivity to 1 meter, 3 meters, or 6 meters.
You can also choose how many minutes the display stays on when no motion is detected. You can choose 2, 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The screen cannot stay on all the time. There are several reasons for this:
Energy efficiency: the Energy Display helps you save energy. That's why we also want the device itself to consume as little electricity as possible.
Hardware protection: this helps prevent premature wear and screen burn-in, so your display can last for years.
Data usage: the display retrieves live data from our cloud every five seconds. To avoid unnecessary load on our servers and offer the display without monthly fees, we need to limit unnecessary data requests when no one is looking at the screen.
For optimal motion detection, make sure there are no obstacles or metal objects in front of the display.
