Manually update your Plug-In Battery
Try updating it manually via the app:
Open the HomeWizard Energy app.
Go to Settings > Meters.
Select the Plug-In Battery.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Update.
If this doesn't work, try the solutions below.
Solutions
Check your Wifi signal strength.
A weak WiFi signal can interfere with the update. Try the following:
Move the Plug-In Battery closer to your WiFi access point.
Try updating again.
Restart your router.
Unplug your router from the power outlet.
Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
Wait for the router to restart fully, then try updating again.
Connect to a different WiFi network.
Sometimes your router can block the update. If the update doesn’t work, try connecting the Plug-In Battery to a different Wi-Fi network. During this time, it won’t be able to connect to your P1 Meter. Once both devices are back on the same network, they’ll automatically reconnect.Connect the Plug-In Battery to another Wi-Fi network and try the update again.
Do you have a mobile hotspot? You can create one using your phone, tablet, or laptop and connect the Plug-In Battery to it.
We recommend using mobile data rather than your home network.
