Updated Huawei integration.
The integration with Huawei inverters was updated in October 2026. Did you connect a Huawei inverter before this date? Add it again in the HomeWizard app to keep your data up to date.
You can transfer your historical data to the updated integration. When adding your inverter, you'll have the option to transfer your previous data to the new graph.
Requirements and features.
You'll need Energy+, a Huawei inverter with an internet connection, and a FusionSolar account. This must be the main account for the sites you want to connect.
The integration shows your solar panel production in 15-minute intervals in the HomeWizard app. Want to monitor your production in real time? Connect a HomeWizard kWh Meter to your inverter.
Do you have multiple Huawei inverters?
During setup, select the sites you want to add in the Huawei portal. All sites must be linked to the same FusionSolar account.
Then select the inverters you want to connect from these sites in the HomeWizard app. You'll see a separate graph for each inverter, plus a graph showing your total production.
Your data is automatically retrieved from the moment you connect your inverter. You can transfer your historical data during or after setup, so all your information appears in the same graph. Follow the steps in the app.
API integrations depend on external factors, including changes, stability, speed, and accuracy of third-party devices and services. HomeWizard cannot be held responsible for the availability or proper functioning of third-party APIs.
How to connect your Huawei inverter.
In the HomeWizard app, go to Settings > Devices > Add device > Huawei.
Tap Login with Huawei.
You'll be redirected to the Huawei portal. Sign in with your FusionSolar account.
Select the sites you want to connect and tap Agree.
You'll return to the HomeWizard app. Select the inverters you want to connect and tap Continue.
You can also choose whether to keep or delete your historical data during this step.Your Huawei inverters are now connected. Tap Go to overview.
Once connected, your production data is retrieved every 15 minutes. It may take up to 15 minutes before your first data appears.
You can now access your solar production graph, the self-sufficiency graph, which shows how much of your generated solar energy you use directly at home, and the electricity consumption graph, which shows the total electricity consumption of all devices in your home, even when you're exporting electricity to the grid.
Troubleshooting.
Can't log in?
Check whether your Huawei FusionSolar account has the 'Owner' role. Only accounts with this role can authorize connections to third-party apps like HomeWizard. Some installers provide their customers with accounts that have limited access permissions. Don't have the correct role? Contact your installer or Huawei to get the necessary permissions.
