When your Wi-Fi Energy Socket is blinking orange it is in 'Overcurrent protection' mode. It means the plugged-in device used more power (in Amps) than the socket is rated for. The socket switched off to protect your home and its own internals from overheating. Manually switch the socket to dismiss the overcurrent protection.
