To add your Solis inverter to the Energy app, you need to add HomeWizard as a guest, and you need your Solis ID. You can find this at the top of the screen in the SolisCloud app.
Requirements and functionalities
For this functionality, Energy+ and an Solis inverter with an internet connection are required.
The API data is available in the Energy app every 15 minutes. It is impossible to view live data like you can with a HomeWizard kWh Meter or P1 Meter.
The data is only read from the moment of connecting, there is no support for historical data.
HomeWizard strongly advises using a unique generated password before disclosing login or authorization credentials in the Energy app. The user consents to HomeWizard storing and using their credentials to collect data from their inverter.
API connections are subject to external factors, such as changes, stability, speed and accuracy of third-party devices and services. The user agrees to understand that HomeWizard cannot be held responsible for the availability and correct functioning of third-party APIs.
Connecting your inverter
To connect your Solis inverter to the HomeWizard Energy app, go to Settings > Meters > Add device > Solis. The app will ask you to complete the following steps:
1. Open the SolisCloud app.
2. Click the ••• in the upper right corner of the view.
3. Click on ‘Edit information’.
4. Go to the 'Link Account' tab.
5. Choose 'Add visitor'.
6. Add 'sol@homewizard.com' here.
7. Click on 'Confirm association'.
After these steps, return to the Energy app and enter your ID. Your ID can be found in your SolisCloud app.
Troubleshooting
If your graph shows incomplete or no data, ensure your inverters are in the same installation. You can check this by going to the SolisCloud app.
