Does the Energy app support wearables or smartwatches?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The HomeWizard app is available for the Apple Watch with watchOS 7.1 and higher.

Why doesn't the HomeWizard app support Android smartwatches?

While we would like to develop this functionality in the future, it is not our current focus.

How does the HomeWizard app work on the Apple Watch?

The Watch app communicates with your iPhone to retrieve data from your account and home. Therefore, make sure you install the iPhone app before using the Watch app.

When you first launch the Watch app, you won't see any graphs yet, but a screen with a large + button. By tapping that button, you can choose a graph and a period. The list of graphs corresponds to the graphs of the home that is currently the 'active' home in the iPhone app.

Save your settings by tapping the icon in the bottom right. Your graph is now created. To change the settings or delete the graph, long-press the existing graph. Swipe the graph(s) to the left to return to the large + button to create a new or additional graph.

Please note: for the 'now' period, the value is updated every 5 seconds.

Does the HomeWizard app support Watch complications?

Depending on the Watch face you have set, various complications are supported for your main connection (power and gas).

A few examples:

To set up a complication, follow these steps:

  1. Long-press the screen until you enter 'edit mode'.

  2. Tap "Edit."

  3. Tap the complication you want to change.

  4. Choose the HomeWizard app (you may need to tap the arrow in the top left first).

  5. Choose the desired complication (availability depends on the type of complication you are editing).
