How do I create custom notifications?
Updated over 4 months ago

With Energy+, you can create custom notifications that alert you or inform you when something happens. Give the notification a name and set when you want to receive this notification:

  • When watts per minute rise above or drop below a certain value.

  • When liters per minute rise above or drop below a certain value.

You can create multiple notifications for the P1 Meter, Energy Socket, kWh Meter, and Watermeter. You can also use the 'Minimum off time' to temporarily disable the notification after it has been triggered.

The response time for a notification is less than 1 minute.

Once you have created a notification, other users in the home can enable it in their notifications settings if they want to receive them as well.

Go to Settings > Notifications > 'Your device' > + Add notification

Here are some examples on what you can do with the powerful custom notifications. (actual settings may vary per use case)

Send a notification when there is surplus power:

When usage drops below -1000 watt for 5 minutes, the minimum off time 5 hours.

Send a notification if a device has been on for longer than 60 minutes:

When usage rises above 50 watt for 60 minutes

Send a notification when the water usage is too high, or you're using water too long:

When usage rises above 10L/min for 20 minutes

Send a notification when the TV turns on:

When usage rises above 30 watts for 1 minute.

Send a notification when your dishwasher (or washer and dryer etc.) is done:

When usage drops below 5 watt for 5 minutes
